You read that right. At the beginning of 2026, I set out to do something that I had put off for too long. Creatively, spiritually, and professionally, I was being pulled to finish something that I’d started almost 10 years ago and never finished.
The awkward thing about it, though, is that it had become way more polarizing and controversial than when I started it in 2018. Back then, it was considered an expressive and meaningful way to reproduce versions of yourself that the world had not seen. Ideas, morals, values, looks, jokes, personality quirks that few people got to experience.
Today, it’s considered more controversial, crowded, and cringe than anything. That’s right, I started a podcast.
In my first go-round, it was a podcast about influencers (it was 2018, please). This time, it’s a podcast seemingly about giving birth. A double cringe, if you will.
But this isn’t just about birthing children (although my first season deals with it a lot)… It’s about birthing new versions of yourself, again and again.
As I do, I made grand plans for it. And then, on the very first day of filming, I felt strange. By the second day of filming, I felt… pregnant.
As the months have stretched by, so have I (see photo of me and my “birthing braids” below). And so has this podcast production. I won’t lie, I’ve crawled to the finish line of this season in hopes I could present — at the very least — a thesis: These are the moments that make us. The unexpected changes that are greater than what we imagined, yet bring about a version of ourselves that maybe we’ve been praying for.
I feel like I am 11 minutes from popping, so I made sure to get everything ready to go for the next few weeks. Sorry for ghosting you for a few months, but these labors of love were important to focus all of my energy on (in addition to the two kids, home, and full-time job).
Here’s your teaser. Season one starts next week and features some of my goodest girlfriends and the women I admire. Enjoy!

Such a good post! Congrats on everything!!! Looking forward to the podcast!
